VRHealth is a newborn SME which develops and deals hardware and software for virtual reality and for the multimedia market, with the aim of making a significant contribution to technological innovation in the Italian market through advanced information management tools and innovative computational models. VRHealth, one of the few VR-development software houses in Italy, has just been created transforming in a Limited Liability Company the previous VIRTUAL ENGINEERING company. In fact VRHealth maintains the same location and includes all the staff that worked in the original company.

VRHealth, one of the few VR-development software houses in Italy, can
develop
desktop and immersive virtual reality applications (using a head mounted display).
Moreover, thank to its competences, the firm has carried out some important projects on behalf of private companies and government bodies. In strict collaboration with IBM Italia, VRHealth - under its previous name "VIRTUAL ENGINEERING" - has developed VEBIM and VEBIM 2 - Virtual Environment for Body Image Modification - used as part of the Experiential Cognitive Treatment, an innovative integrated eating disorders treatment currently under clinical trial at the Istituto Auxologico Italiano, IRCCS. VIRTUAL ENGINEERING has also realized two virtual applications on behalf of the Ministry of Education and of the Ministry of Public Works, both dedicated to education.
Other interesting applications have been realized in the art and graphic field, among them for example: two interactive virtual galleries, one for the Biennial Exhibition of Modern Art in Venice, and the other one for the Exhibition of '300 in Rimini, three digital films on behalf of important italian companies at advertising purposes, different VR simulations to investigate the industrial feasibility and design.
